Georgetown DC is very expensive and very nice looking. It's not the future, it's a little "utopia". But that said, different places will have different takes on smoking. Some will legislate against, others won't. It's important to note that legislating against smoking tends to cost states money. They lose out on cigarette taxes from fewer people smoking. SCHIP is funded entirely by cigarette taxes, so if everyone stops smoking, SCHIP won't be able to fund children's health care.
