Why do i have to be like this?

I know a guy friend just like you. He has been messed over by so many women that he actually thought he didn't deserve to be treated with respect. We once had a fling, but he couldn't believe how honest and genuine I was. Finally, he told me that my niceness made him uncomfortable. We don't see each other any more. But I heard he has a new girlfriend who treats him like sh!t. I guess some people love being in masochistic relationships.
